Tonight, I replaced the WordPress commenting system with a Facebook Application following directions at an article at Smashing Magazine, How To Integrate Facebook, Twitter And Google+ In WordPress. It was so simple.
Following the same article, I added a twitter feed using the official Twitter profile widget. I added the widget using the Text Widget to the sidebar.
I also learned that how to get an RSS feed of your tweets. Twitter has removed this feature from the profile page, but it can be created using instructions at SEO Alien.
